 Today in class we basically took a test on all the Langston Hughes poems. I feel so confident in this lesson because I am so good at black cultures. Sometimes when we are doing black history assignments in class it’s like I know exactly what to put what to say, my ancestors for real. But I feel like I did really good on the test and after I took my test I caught up on some work and got it all done cause like I said i’m really good at black anything for real. 

 Today in class we read a poem by Langston Hughes and it was so good in my opinion. It really opened my eyes on how strong and powerful speaking up for yourself and fighting for what you want. Even though the person in the poem did not have the same rights as everyone else that didn’t stop him from believing that some day he might have them. This poem really was an eye opener for me because it had so much elements to the poem itself. 

 Today in class we were received two worksheets. On worksheet had the poems on it and the other paper had to structure. We are doing this in order to help up with the EOC. I also learned what a complex account is today and how to make one. Today is Friday i’m very excited to see how the weekend is going to play out. 

 Hello so today is Thursday my personal favorite day out of the week. I am feeling really good today in class we read a poem, i’m not quite sure what the title was but it from his mom giving him some advice on life. Our bell ringer for today we had to tell something important that our mom told us before. Overall this was a really good lesson i was very enhanced in class today because i was actually interrelated about the topic. 

 Today in class we talked about black history and one of those people we talked about was Langston Hughes. In class today we read a poem about him. The moral of the poem was know your rights. This is a really good Thursday I love Thursdays and I feel like I learned a lot in class today about my rights and how i’m more free then they was back in the day. We also had a short first period but that is okay because I learned a lot in that gracious amount of time. 

 Today in class Mr. Rease was not here so we had a substitute and we did an assignment gone canvas. The assignment was on common lit about chapter eight in the Great Gatsby. I learned that Gatsby really a home wrecker and he okay with being second. Today i’m not feeling so well but it’s just monday hopefully for tommorow blog i will have a better update. I’m rushing so i will fix my errors up later thank you!

Today in class we started reading chapter 7 in the book great Gatsby. And Mr. Rease handed us cards to answer when we finished reading the chapter. My card asked me what questions do I have after reading the chapter. And I just wanna know why Gatsby chose Daisy as someone he cherishes and loves when she out here talking and messing with everybody. Not to mention that she has a literally husband. Today I am feeling a little bit overwhelmed because all of my classes are assigning a lot of work at the same time so it’s like I don’t have a break but i’m going to always make me a break regardless.

 Today the teacher isn’t here so I used this time to catch up on work. I learned that it is not okay to let assignments stack up like this. This is impacting me because I have a lot of other stuff goin on and I already don’t be having time so procrastinating ain’t the move. I liked that we had a sun it was real chill and peaceful. I’m feeling good, smelling good, and i’m going to eat later so i’m we’ll today. 

 Today is Monday and we were introduced to the poster assignment. I learned more about Great Gatsby. I liked the fact that I was the illustrator for this assignment that was really fun. I didn’t like my group to be honest. Today I start my second day at my new job ‘Angie’s Beauty Supply Plus’.

 Today in class we were introduced to the character poster idea. I’m a visual learner, the directions were quite confusing. Lucky for me there were posters hanging around the room for me to get a feel of the assignment. This lesson was actually a group thing but my group wasn’t all that to be honest. Today is Friday and i’m feeling good, afterschool i’m going to get me a 10 piece combo from american deli.

 Today we did literature circles. We get in groups and read. We each have different papers that we get to follow along with the book. The group for the literature circle also would be the same group for the posters. We read The Great Gatsby.  I learned more about the book reading it with other people. I haven’t really been reading it. I was just skimming through looking for what I need to complete the assignments. Working in a group really was relieving. Having other people read and had catching stuff I didn’t catch.  I liked this lesson. It was something that needed to take two days to complete so it gave me time. I also was the researcher which was the best pick if u ask me. Something I struggled with in this lesson was just the book pretty much. On to the next paragraph.  Today I was feeling great. Day was going good I have no complaints. I had to work later and didn’t have no test for the first time on a Tuesday. My plans after this class is to go to the next one...

 Today in class we started on our posters. We had to turn the chairs into group formation. Free labor if you ask me. Each group had to randomly pick a name. My group got the Great Gatsby himself.  I feel like this day was really just a Monday. Me personally I wasn’t excited about being in a group. I am a procrastinator that likes to do everything myself. Besides the group was very awkward. We reflected over ideas and I ended up the artist.  The lesson we had a rubric to follow for the posters. And we also had to real chapter our daily pages. The pages were 25-31. We used the book for the posters as well.  How I felt about this lesson was the same way I feel about any other Gatsby lesson. It sucks but got to get it done right. On top of this working in groups made me realized i’m not the only one who hate the book. I just wish we could vote on what we read. This was would be more effective because we reading it at the end of the day and putting stuff into our mind so ...
