  Today in class we presented our posters that we worked on for two days. My group got great Gatsby so this is how our poster looks. This assignment helped me get a better understanding of each of the characters. I wasn’t a fan of my group though, I’d much rather work by myself. Looking back at this it could’ve been a lot better of the group I somehow ended up end participated a little more. I also think most of the class agrees to work alone. I feel like group work is just to help the kids who don’t do nothing already in the first place. And majority of the class don’t even like the book so it’s making it really hard out here.  The lesson was basically us presenting our posters. We had to go to the front of the class and each speak. After we presented our posters we had to hang them. The lesson was pretty quick. And the teacher asked us questions and stuff.  I don’t really understand what this paragraph supposed to be about so i’m going to reveal how I really feel about ...

 Today in class we wrote out our goals for 2024 and had to right about ways we can achieve these goals. This assignment was actually what I needed in my life because it is the new year. All I’m on is bettering myself and getting me together. A few goals that I wrote down to relate to this is maintain success, stay happy and get good grades. Another part of the assignment was to explain how we were going to achieve these goals on paragraphs and I honestly really like this assignment because I feel like i’m planning. 

 My racial descent is Indian African American. My great grandmothers were Indian and their spouses were African Americans. We don’t really have any cultural things that we do or anything that I can remember that is why it was hard for me to complete this assignment. But I have created a collage to explain my heritage. I chose these pictures because this is my family and the best thing to explain is is that we be eating good and it’s all love and smiles. 

 Hey everyone I totally forgot about you all but let me get into what we have done today. Today in class we weren’t in there for long because we ended up going to the auditorium. At first I was like what are we going to the auditorium for but then once we got there I quickly understood. I’m the auditorium the counselors was talking to us about dual enrollment and basically our future. How I feel about this is really appreciative that they are willing to share and help us out with this. 

 Today in class we finished up the movie. We answered some questions that related to it and finished up our packet. After watching this I realized it take education for granted. Also it was so heart warming to hear about their motivation of why they so determined to get to school. I now will be paying extra attention in school and no longer taking it for granted. 

 Today in class we took our assessment a little sooner. It was originally scheduled for Friday but since people were going to be out it was moved to today. I know I did really good on the test because I have been preparing for it all week. Usually I don’t stu say and I still didn’t but the point is everything we talked about in class helped me with the test. Well i have to go now because we are about to start a new assignment.
